Problem statement

Sapeli is a renown manufacturer of doors and doorframes and has branches throughout the several europian countries. Customers can choose from a wealth of designs, colors and many combinations of shapes and materials. The client decided to come up with a solution to provide an overview of all goods in a smaller shop. On the web, customers use a simple app to help them visualize selected combinations. We went to work to bring this comfort to the stores and offer a fun and stylish form of door selection.

Concept

A bold concept of futuristic showroom was created, where besides selected physical samples, a three-meter-high panel plays a major role, where you can see the combination you choose in life-size. We wanted to achieve the most intuitive and simple user experience. Therefore, a tablet and a very simple mobile application were chosen.

User arrives in the showroom and gets the table tablet. At that time, both the tablet and the panel are schematically depicted door frames and individual elements that the user can change. Clicking an element opens a menu of materials and colors.

Solution

Your edits are immediately visible on both your tablet and the panel. This allows the customer to test inexhaustible combinations and to design a solution that suits him best. After the selection is completed, it can be generated in PDF and sent to e-mail.

This ends the work with the application, but the ordering process continues with the showroom staff. The design shop was opened in the Butterfly building in Prague. Both the panel and the applications have been successfully installed and the innovative Sapeli Unlimited concept is born. The showroom is definitely worth a visit!
